TATAMO! is a project that evolved from the need to effectively utilize tatami mat rushes, where rush straws too short for use in tatami are made into products instead. The shortest straws are used to make the Rebirth Pod.
We've created the vase by combining earth-friendly polylactide resins produced by recycling processes with the soft rush straws or other natural materials which may otherwise have been discarded.
You can enjoy using the vase in two ways: To hold a single flower, or as a flower pot. In addition to the soft rush straw vase, you may also select our vases made of driftwood and of sawdust.
